Mamiko Shiota

Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1987. Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design. Her picture book Yaneura Obake, which she produced for the first time, won the 15th Her Pinpoint Picture Book Competition Excellence Award in 2014, and she became a picture book author. Her unique world drawn by her delicate paintings attracts her readers. His first work, "The Tale of Eggs" (Bronze Shinsha), won the 28th Bratislava picture, the 27th Japan Picture Book Grand Prize, and many other awards.
